Ford Ranger Door Lock Removal and Installation Instruction

The Ford Ranger is mid-size truck recognized for being reliable and tough. Removing the Door Lock

Installing in the Door Lock

1. Insert the brand new lock cylinder into the lock cylinder gap from the surface of the Ranger. Slide the lock cylinder retainer onto the lock cylinder using a pair of pliers. Make it possible for the lock cylinder is seated properly.
2. Reconnect the door latch rod to the retaining clip. Insert the key into the Door Lock cylinder and be sure that it operates correctly.

4. Reattach the window crank. Reinstall and tighten the window crank mounting screw with a Phillips screwdriver.
5. Reattach the door deal with cup, securing it by tightening the mounting screw with a Phillips screwdriver. Reattach the arm relaxation, securing it by tightening the mounting screws with the Phillips screwdriver.
6. Roll the window up and down to ensure that it is working properly.
